MemberMouse uses the SHA-256 encryption algorithm and the hash_hmac PHP function to protect communications with our payment scheduler. If you are seeing this warning message appear in your WordPress Dashboard this means that your server does not support these protections. This is an essential security feature and without it your payment communications are insecure. You will need to contact your hosting provider and tell them to add support for the hash_hmac PHP function and the SHA-256 encryption algorithm. Once this has been added, the warning will go away from the WordPress Dashboard.
