This is the basic list of what is required to create a product in Sticky.io that can be mapped to MemberMouse. There multiple are other options and selections that can be set in Sticky.io and added in these sections that are not listed here. All of these items will be in the main Products heading of the top menu. To save space, and make navigating the instructions easier, we have listed images for Products / Selection, and ACTIONS / Add for the top item only.
I. Create Categories - Grouping containers
1. In the Sticky.io top menu, click on Products, then Categories.
2. Click on ACTIONS, and Add Category.
3. Add name and Description, then click Save.
II. Create Products
1. In the Sticky.io top menu, click on Products, then Products again.
2. Click on ACTIONS, and Add.
3. Select 'Product' under Type in the dialog, and click Next.
4. Fill in the Add Product page information, and click Save. The following are Required Fields:
- Name - Name of your product
- SKU - Does not need to correlate to anything in MemberMouse, you can make something up here
- Category - Select one of the categories you created in the last section.
- Price - Functions the same as the MemberMouse field. Will be used as one time or recurring payment amount post trial (trial set in Offers and recurring payment schedule set in Billing Models, which are the next two sections)
- Max Quantity - No infinite option, you must enter a number here
III. Create a Billing Model - Set recurring payment options. The One Time default option is not editable
1. In the Sticky.io top menu, click on Products, then Billing Models.
2. Click on ACTIONS, and Add.
3. On the creation page, enter the following required settings, and click Save:
- Name - Descriptive name for your billing model/type
- Subscription/Type - Select recurring cycle type. This does not have to match what is set in MemberMouse, although you will get an alert on the MemberMouse side if they do not match. Bill by schedule is the required option for limited payment plans.
IV. Create an Offer
1. In the Sticky.io top menu, click on Products, then Offers.
2. Click on ACTIONS, and Add.
3. Select 'Standard' under Type in the dialog, and click Next.
4. Fill in the Add Offer page information, and click Save. The following are Required Fields:
- Select Billing Model - Once selected, you can set discount options for % or $ off. You can also add a new Billing Model from here
- Trial Setup
- Select Product
- Recurring - Custom Recurring is for options post Bill By Schedule, so after a limited payment plan is complete.
V. Create Shipping
Required for Campaigns in the next section. You must setup a $0 option if you don't use shipping in MemberMouse.
1. In the Sticky.io top menu, click on Products, then Shipping.
2. Click on ACTIONS, and Add Shipping Method.
3. Fill in the Add Shipping dialog with the following options, then save:
- Name - Name your method
- Select a Group Name
- Description
- Set price - $0 for no shipping
VI. Create a Campaign
1. In the Sticky.io top menu, click on Products, then Campaigns.
2. Click on ACTIONS, and Add Campaign.
3. Fill in the Campaigns page with the following required options, then save:
- Check Third Party Providers box in Options (right hand column) to show Membership option
- Default Channel - Marketing
- Select Offer - Type to search if list is not displayed
- Payment types
- Credit Card Gateway - You can configure these from Payments -> Gateways in Sticky.io if you have not setup previously.
- Select Countries
- Select Shipping
