All WordPress installations have a default reset password page that can be accessed at "http://yourdomain.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword" where "http://yourdomain.com" is where you have WordPress installed.

MemberMouse comes with its own reset password page. The MemberMouse reset password page utilizes WordPress' built-in reset password functionality behind-the-scenes, but provides you with an opportunity to style the reset password form and add additional content to the page. When MemberMouse is installed WordPress is configured to use our reset password page instead of the WordPress reset password page. Sometimes you may prefer to continue to have WordPress' reset password page be the default, in which case you can instruct MemberMouse to bypass this configuration setting.

Follow the steps below to configure whether to use MemberMouse's or WordPress' reset password page as the default:

  1. From the MemberMouse menu go to General Settings, and then click on the Other Settings tab.

  2. Scroll down to the WordPress Login Settings section.

  3. To instruct MemberMouse to use the WordPress reset password page as the default, uncheck the check box. If you leave the box checked, the MemberMouse reset password page will be used as the default reset password page.

  4. Click the  button to save your settings.
