PRO PLAN +

After configuring MemberMouse to work with ClickBank, all that's necessary to run a test purchase in ClickBank is to create a test credit card and then visit the ClickBank checkout page.

IMPORTANT: Prior to running a test purchase, visit your MemberMouse site in the same browser you're going to run the test in and make sure that you're not logged in as an administrator. If you are, log out before to continuing.

Follow the steps below to run a test purchase in ClickBank:

  1. Log into your ClickBank account.

  2. Click on the Vendor Settings tab in the main menu.

  3. Click on the My Site tab in the secondary menu.

  4. Scroll down to the Testing Your Products section and click the Edit link in the upper right corner.

  5. On the next page, click the Generate New Card Number link in the Testing Your Products section.

  6. After completing the verification form that pops up, copy the credit card information and paste it in a location on your computer where you can access it later.

  7. Now, we need to go to the ClickBank checkout page for a particular product. You can do this by visiting the standard MemberMouse checkout page and clicking on the ClickBank buy now button or you can put a purchase link on your website that sends customers directly to the ClickBank checkout page. Read this article learn more about ClickBank checkout options.

  8. Enter an email address that is not currently associated with a WordPress user or a MemberMouse member on your site.

  9. Copy and paste the test credit card information into the appropriate fields.

  10. Click the  button.

  11. On the following page click the Complete Your Order button.

  12. Following this you should be redirected to the confirmation on your MemberMouse site. If you're not redirected to the MemberMouse confirmation page or you see a MemberMouse error page, see our troubleshooting section for help.

  13. Log into your WordPress backend and go to MemberMouse > Manage Members screen. Assuming that the email address you used to place the order wasn't already associated with a existing member, you should see a new account created with the appropriate access rights. If you don't see this account or it doesn't have the correct membership level or bundle applied to the account, see our troubleshooting section for help.

Troubleshooting

  1. Make sure that you've configured the confirmation page URL properly for the product you're purchasing in ClickBank. Follow the steps in this article to configure the confirmation page URL.
