The Preview Settings Bar allows you to easily view your site as if you were a member with different access rights and at different places in a drip content schedule. While this feature is useful in assuring that pages display exactly as you want them to, and only to certain membership levels, there may be times that deactivating it is also useful for certain administrative activities.

You can easily enable, or disable this feature, depending on your needs and preferences. Either way, if the Preview Settings Bar is activated or not, only website administrators will be able to see it and use it, and it will not display to your members.

MM Version 2.4.0+:  By default, MemberMouse now comes out of the box with this option disabled. While the Preview Settings bar is set to hidden, the admin will be able to view protected content on all pages without the need to choose a membership level or bundle.

Follow the steps below to show or hide the Preview Settings Bar:

  1. From the MemberMouse menu, go to General Settings, and then click on the Other Settings tab.

  2. Scroll down to the Preview Settings Bar Options section.

  3. To show the preview settings bar, check the check box. Uncheck the box to hide it.

  4. Click the  button to save your settings.

After saving those settings, your Preview Settings Bar will now be hidden or displayed when you visit the front-end pages and posts of your site.
