MemberMouse commission profiles are where you define the rules that MemberMouse should follow when determining how to track commissions when a sale is made. These settings will be what iDev uses in the case that information is not available or configured in iDev. For example, you can set in a commission profile whether commissions should be paid out on initial sales, if rebill commissions should be paid out and if the number of rebill commissions should be limited to a certain number and more. You can use one commission profile across your entire catalog of products or associate commission profiles on a product-by-product basis so you have complete control over when commissions should be paid out for each product. 


Managing Commission Profiles


In the MemberMouse menu go to Affiliate Settings and then click on the Commission Profiles tab.


The screenshot below is an example of what the commission profiles tab will look like. Here you will see all of your commission profiles, each of their settings and attributes, including: name, initial commission settings, rebill commission settings and cancel commissions settings. The commission profile tab is where you create new profiles, edit existing profiles and delete profiles.

Commission Profile Columns


COLUMNDESCRIPTION
This orange flag marks the default commission profile. Any commission profile can be marked as the default commission profile. The default commission profile is used when a customer purchases any product in MemberMouse that's configured to use the system default profile.
Click on this icon  to mark this commission profile as the default.
Initial CommissionThis column indicates if commissions should be tracked for initial payments on products associated with this profile.

Rebill CommissionsThis column indicates if commissions should be tracked for rebill payments on products associated with this profile.

Rebill Commissions Enabled - a short description will also show up indicating what the rebill commissions are and also if rebill commissions should be limited

Cancel Commissions

This column indicates if commissions should be canceled when a refund is issued on products associated with this profile.

ActionsThe icons in this column allow you to edit or delete commission profiles:

Edit - Click on this icon to edit the commission profile. Read this article to learn more about editing commission profiles.

Delete - Click on this icon to delete the commission profile. If the icon appears grey then the commission profile is still in use. Read this article to learn how to delete commission profiles.
